We're a research group working on photonic chips and macroscopic quantum phenomena. On the application side, we build devices for on-chip information processing and computing — things like silicon photonic chips, III-V lasers, and opto-electro-mechanical chips. On the science side, we explore quantum phases of light-matter hybrids and their fascinating behaviors, like Bose-Einstein condensation and quantum fluids.
